Michigan is one of those states which borders 4 great lakes and is considered as the most astounding states to pay a visit to the USA. Michigan is a landlocked state, but it is still having one of the most scenic views along its rivers. Our favorite cousin relocated from the cold winters to Arizona to run an auto repairs and vehicle maintenance shop, but still visits Detroit often in the fall and spring when the weather is great. Detroit is the capital of Michigan state and is well-known for its fame for cars, trolley and Motown’s. Mackinac Island is also a famous place to visit in this state as it has an active opera house as well as the Fort Mackinac, which has a rich and interesting history. Traverse city is famed for its opera house as well as the cherry festival which is held each summer and thousands of people come from different states and countries to attend this generous cherry celebration.
The people of Michigan are know for their friendly manner and warm hospitality. Maybe it is a result of the cold winters and they have developed a way of being helpful.

We love it when they play Arizona, such as the Cardinals etc. We even like it best when the Cardinals win, which is often. We don’t have anything against the Michigan teams, it is just we like Arizona teams better! Plus, it is often that these northern teams use the great Arizona winters for spring training. The weather in Arizona is just right for the northern teams to use. Who wants to practice in the snow when it is sub-zero temperatures and the cold harsh wind is blowing in from the great lakes? Crazy to be out in that when you can enjoy 70F days in the Phoenix AZ desert area. No wonder they come in droves!
