President's Message

Buckeye Greetings!

I have always been proud to be a graduate of “The” Ohio University and now with the return of Dr. Gee both students and alumni seem to be more excited than ever.

We all have many fond memories of our days at Ohio State and it is always fun to relive the “good old days”.  By joining fellow Buckeyes at Stark County events you can renew old friendships, make new connections and help us to encourage students to choose Ohio State to pursue their educational dreams.

It looks like Stark County is ready to show our Buckeye Spirit again. A hearty group of OSU graduates began meeting last winter to revive the OSU Stark County Alumni Club. We have been meeting once a month and we have generated renewed interest.

In the Spring we were able to award 4 area outstanding high school students scholarships. We were amazed by the quality of the students who applied for the scholarships.

Perhaps our most successful event was when Stark County welcomed Dr. E Gordon Gee. Everyone attending had a fun evening wearing the "Gee" inspired red bow ties!

There is a list of events appearing on our web site. Please plan to attend some of the events and bring a friend.

Go Bucks!

Ann Bradway,  President
